Ayurvedic Industries is very much aware of the situation where herbs as raw materials is unable to meet ever increasing demand globally. They have long realized that cultivation of the same is the only way out in the longer run.
Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala was depending on collection centres and old time dealers for raw materials. However, in the new millennium they initiated the Herbal Division with a nursery and entered into buy back agreements with farmers providing them with seedlings and pre-fixed purchase price.
Now they are planning this on a massive scale. They have announced ‘Herbal buy back’ through 400 odd counters throughout the state with specific plans, for farming and harvesting, for the farmers. They are now entering into understanding with various communities and farming clusters for the implementation of the same.
