The Company is named after Lord Dhanwanthari who is considered as the God of Ayurveda. After its humble beginnings. it evolved as an industry to reckon with. Then, Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala had around 50 branches and more than 100 agencies. It was the first ayurvedic firm from South India to explore the Delhi market. Its area of operation included Madras, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode and Kanyakumari Dt. as early as in 1960’s.

Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala now have about 350 sales outlets and have set-up full-fledged treatment divisions in many locations of Kerala apart from associates in other States. Its manufacturing unit was awarded (Good Manufacturing Practice) Certificate in 2002 for complying with Global Standards of Production. Its now ISO certified and a CRISIL rated Company.
